Grange seeking Teams, Sponsors for May softball tournament to benefit Special Olympics

Schuylkill County's Special Olympics athletes want to take to the diamond - and Jefferson Grange is here to help.

Starting on Friday, May 19 and ending Sunday, May 21, Jefferson Grange will host a co-ed slow-pitch softball tournament at the Island Park in Schuylkill Haven. The event will raise money for the Special Olympics in our area to begin a softball program for their athletes.

We are still seeking teams and sponsors for the tournament. Fans are encouraged to come out and cheer for the players, meet Special Olympics athletes and enjoy some great food. Donations will be taken at the gate.
